Im based in Warrington, Cheshire, and I regularly photograph weddings up and down the UK, as far south as Cornwall, and as far noth as Scotland. Im also happy to travel further afield and my destination wedding couples have taken me as far west as North Carolina USA and as far east as Cyprus. Ive photographed weddings all over Cheshire, Manchester, Liverpool, Merseyside, Wirral, North Wales, Preston, Lancashire and Knutsford and Macclesfield. For all weddings taking place within a 50 mile radius of Warrington, Cheshire, all travel costs and expenses are included.
If your wedding is over 50 miles from WA1 the cost is 40p per mile. Any journeys in excess of 2 hour drive will require an overnight stay. I dont have expensive tastes though, a travel lodge close by will suffice.
Further distances such as destination weddings may require return flights and a 2 night stay, please ask for more details.
Absolutely, wherever time and distance allows it. What you love and what makes you both smile is important to me, but that comes with being organised. I love to meet my couples for a consultation, whether it take place at my home, your home, at a local pub or on skype if distance wont allow a meeting. I would love you to send me pictures, pins and information about your plans. Knowing this and being organised is key in helping me provide the best possible photographs for you to laugh, love and cherish for the rest of your lives.
After you've completed your questionnaire, signed your contract & booking form and paid the booking fee, your wedding date is firmly booked. No one else can take it. 3 Months before your wedding your balance invoice will be sent to you. I will also call you around 1-2 weeks before your wedding date to discuss the timings for your day and the any group or specific photographs you require.
On the day, I will already have all the information and timeline of the day and will have telephoned you to run through it a week before your big day. I will be there to lead you to each step of the wedding day journey, to try and make sure that everything runs on time. However true to life, there are always circumstances outside of my control but we will always endeavour to make sure we overcome these little obstacles with ease.
Every couple and wedding day is different. I'll spend much of the day looking for those special natural moments/smiles/embraces that tell the story of your day. Once you are married I will spend usually 15 to 20 minutes photographing yourselves as a couple. Most couples still like to take some group photographs, normally around 6-8 of them which shouldnt take any longer than 20 minutes. If there's anything specific you want, just ask. Its what im there for.
A secondary photographer (or second shooter as we call them) is usually booked by the main photographer to catch parts of the day they can't. Having a second photographer can be a great way of covering both of your morning's in full, as well as catching different angles during your ceremony & more candid and relaxed photographs throughout the day. You can add a secondary photographer to your contract however this needs to be requested and paid for at least 3 months before your wedding date.
We do not limit how many photographs we take during your wedding. We will keep photographing until our time with you ends. We guarantee a minimum of 350 images on a half day wedding and 600 on our full day coverage, however our collections regularly produce more than this.
As part of your wedding photography package, all digital editing, effects, airbrushing is included in the cost. Nobody is perfect, but we can make it so to 30 chosen images. We can provide a full collection airbrushing service but due to the length of time this takes there is a charge for this service. Please ask for more details.
A week after your wedding I will provide you with a lovingly edited and created blog. A short selection of images from your wedding day to keep you reliving your perfect day over and over, until your full wedding collection is ready. The time frame is usually 12 weeks after the date of your wedding during peak season, however I often deliver before this time.
I am fully insured for public liability, professional indemnity and theft/damage to my photography kit. I also carry a back up camera, several professional camera lenses, batteries and memory cards. I also have a very comprehensive back up system at home where your images are stored in hard drives and on a cloud back up for extra security.
A typical full day will start an hour or two before your ceremony is due to start, I will then work through until just after your first dance, or around 9pm. The only time I put my camera down is when you sit down for your wedding breakfast, firstly because no-one wants a photograph of themselves with a profiterole in their mouth - but it also gives me a chance to re-fuel ready to join you on the dancefloor too! A typical full day's package is 10 hours however I can do more or less depending on what you need.
I only commit to photographing 25-30 weddings every year and I start to book up at least 18 months in advance. Although i take bookings regulaly 18-24 months in advance of wedding dates. Popular summer season wedding dates are snapped up quickly, well in advance. Realistically, if you'd like me to photograph your wedding, you should book as early as possible.
